Embodied AI
Humanoid and dual-arm robots for flexible hands-on tasks, introduced through focused pilots.
Embodied AI refers to robots that combine a physical body, such as a humanoid or dual-arm robot, with AI that lets them perceive their surroundings and handle objects with more flexibility than traditional automation. The technology is developing quickly but is still emerging for industrial use. We offer it for pilots and innovation projects on clearly defined tasks, alongside proven AMRs that handle the bulk of your material flow on the same dispatch system.
Why it works
- 01
Flexible hands-on work
Humanoid and dual-arm robots are aimed at tasks that are hard to automate with fixed equipment, such as varied parts or frequently changing work.
- 02
Pilot first
We start with one defined task, agree success criteria up front and measure the result before any wider rollout.
- 03
Part of one fleet
Embodied AI robots can work alongside lifting AMRs, forklifts and CTUs managed by one dispatch system.
Where embodied AI fits today
Most material flow in a plant is still handled most reliably by AMRs: lifting robots, forklifts, CTUs and mobile manipulators. Embodied AI is worth testing where tasks are varied, need two hands or happen in spaces designed for people, and where fixed automation would be too rigid.
We are open about the limits. Cycle times, reliability and the range of tasks these robots can handle vary by application, so we only recommend a pilot when there is a realistic chance of a useful result.
- Handling varied parts at flexible assembly or packing stations
- Hands-on tasks in electronics and battery plants that change often
- Innovation programs that want first-hand experience before scaling
How a pilot works
We start by reviewing the task, the parts and the station with your team. If it looks feasible, we define a pilot scope with clear success criteria, run trials, then install, train and measure on site. You decide on next steps with real data from your own process.
Every robot type runs on the same dispatch system, connected to your MES, WMS, PLCs, lifts and doors.
Frequently asked questions
Are humanoid robots ready for production?
For most production tasks, not yet at the reliability of established automation. They are suited to pilots on defined tasks, which is how we offer them.
What makes a good first pilot task?
A repetitive but varied hands-on task at one station, with clear success criteria and limited impact on output if the robot stops.
Can embodied AI robots work with our existing AMR fleet?
Yes. They can be connected to the same dispatch system, so tasks and traffic are coordinated with your other robots.
What do you need from us to scope a pilot?
A short description or video of the task, samples or photos of the parts, and the station layout. We use them to judge feasibility before proposing a pilot.
